Dilapidations Project - Burgess Hill
Overview
We were appointed to deliver a full dilapidations project for a commercial property in Burgess Hill at the end of the tenant’s lease. The scope covered complete strip out, making good and reinstatement works to return the unit to the landlord’s required condition in line with lease obligations.
Our aim was simple. Get the space handed back on time, compliant and without unnecessary delays or disputes.

Challenges
As with most dilapidations projects, timing was critical. The works needed to be completed within a tight end of lease window while meeting the landlord’s expectations for reinstatement. Close attention was required to ensure all non compliant elements were removed and finishes were returned to an acceptable standard without overworking areas that were not required under the lease.
Results
The project was completed on time and to the required specification, allowing the client to hand the property back without delays or additional costs. The landlord inspection was passed with no issues, giving the client a clean and stress free exit from the lease.
